As every year this year in 2016 also the Anna university is conducting Distance education entrance test for the admission to MBA (Master of Business administration), MCA (Master of Computer Application). The university also provides MSC (Master of Science-Computer Science) but there is no exam for it.

About Anna University DEET
Anna University is a technical university located in Tamilnadu India. The main campus is in Chennai. This university conducts Distance Education Entrance Test every year which offers courses MBA for the course period of 2 years, MCA for the course period of 3 years and MSC. The candidates who pass in the entrance exam are eligible to do this course in the university.
Eligibility for AMIE:
Candidates with AMIE or similar qualification given by professional Institutes approved by MHRD can also get admission to MBA/MCA Degree Programme, if they have two years of experience after obtaining AMIE or similar Degree.
Eligibility for TANCET:
Candidates who wrote TANCET are also eligible for admission to MBA/MCA/MSC. The main thing is the TANCET score is valid only for one year from the date of Examination or else candidate should write DEET for admission. Admission will be given on the merit priority for the TANCET candidates.
Application process for Anna University DEET 2016
Candidates who wish to apply for the Distance Education Entrance Test should follow the application process mentioned below. The thing they need to do is to fill the application form and complete paying registration fee mentioned below:
• The process of application starts from first week of September 2016.
• Candidates should go through application form carefully and then fill the application form with correct details.
• Candidates should upload passport size photograph and digital signature in the application form.
• The last date for applying for this entrance examination is by 3rd week of June 2016.
