Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test as known as AP POLYCET 2016 notification has been announced State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET),Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE.Applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into all Diploma Courses in Engineering and Non-Engineering offered at Polytechnics / Institutions (Including Govt / Aided and Unaided polytechnics / Institutions & 2nd shift polytechnics in private engineering colleges) in Andhra Pradesh for the Academic year 2016-2017.Eligible and Interested candidates may submit their applications through online mode only.The related information regarding fee details, eligibility,exam date & time schedule, exam dates and selection procedure given below.............
Registration fee Details
Candidate have to pay Rs 330/- through AP online / Mee-Seva in Andhra Pradesh and also through Payment of Gateway (Credit cards/Debit cards/Net Banking)
Eligibility for AP POLYCET 2016
1. Nationality
A) Candidates should be of Indian Nationality .
B) Candidate should be belong to the state of Andhara Pradesh only and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP educational Institutions or 1974 as subsequently amended.
Educational Qualifications
A) Candidate should have passed SSC (or) it equivalent and recognized by the Board of Secondary Education in Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad.
B) The candidates who have compartmentally passed (or) appearing for SSC are also eligible to apply,they must have passed in all subjects before seeking admission.
C) Candidate belonging to NIOS / APOSS / CBSE / ICSE / other examinations recognized as (or) equivalent to SSC by AP GOVT should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry with minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
Age Criteria
There is NO age restriction for appearing for Polycet 2016 . However maximum eligible age for obtaining a scholarship.
