West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) directs WB JECA exam which is conducted for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course. WBJECA test score is accepted by both government and private engineering univeristies and colleges in the state. Usually conducted in the first or second week of July every year this assesment is important for aspirants wishing to apply for first semester of six semester of Computer Application course in any of the following institutes. These institutes are known as WB JECA 2016 Colleges/ Participating institutes

Eligibility for WB JECA 2016: 

Age: There is no age limit for candidates wishing to appear for WB JECA 2016.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Graduation. Candidates appearing for their final year degree examination are also eligible to apply for WB JECA 2015.

Residential Criteria: For admission to Govt. Engineering / Technology Colleges only , Candidates who have been residents of the State of West Bengal for a minimum period of 10 years or any of their parents who have been permanent residents of West Bengal with a permanent home and address in the state are eligible to apply. Candidates from other states other than West Bengal will be considered for admission to non-government engineering/technology colleges and institutions.

Residential Domicile certificate should be produced by students during counselling in the proforma given in for admission to Govt. Engineering / Technology Colleges only , the candidates must have been residing in the State of West Bengal for a minimum period of 10 (ten) years or any of their parents must be permanent resident of West Bengal having their permanent home address in the State of West Bengal. However, candidates of states other than West Bengal may be considered for admission to non-Govt. Engineering / Technology Colleges/Institutions.

Residential (Domicile) certificate in this regard shall have to be produced during counselling in the proforma given in“Proforma for Residential (Domicile) Certificate” posted at www.wbjeeb.in from any of the Competent Authorities as mentioned below. No separate supporting documents or residential certificate in any other form will be accepted.
