J&K PolytechnicThe Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) and J&K State Board of Technical Education conducts the J&K Polytechnic Entrance Exam every year. The candidates appearing for the exam will be selected for the three year technical courses for various Jammu & Kashmir branches.

About J&K Diploma Admission
By the Act of State Legislation, the board was established and it is in charge of conducting the entrance test for selecting the right candidates for the admission in different professional courses. Full time Diploma program in the field of engineering.
Eligibility Criteria of J&K Diploma Polytechnic 2016
Citizenship: The candidates needs to be a permanent resident of Jammu & Kashmir as per section 06 of the Jammu & Kashmir state constitution.
Age Limit: The age criteria that the candidates must abide by is 15 years of minimum age and the maximum age is that of 18 years.
Educational Qualification: The applicants who want to apply for the exam must possess Xth Board or equivalent passing certificate with a minimum of 40% marks. For the reserved categories (SC/ ST) 35% is the minimum cut off aggregate.
Application Process for J&K Diploma Polytechnic 2016
• The candidates can obtain the application form from the office of J&K Board. Once the application form is duly filled, they need to send it to –
J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations

Srinagar, Opposite J&K Bank,
Barzulla, Srinagar – 190005.
• In case the candidates are filling the application form online, then they need to visit the site www.jakbopee.org or www.jksbote.in and register with that site first
• Then they can fill up the application form online with valid email address and mobile number
• Scanned photograph and signature is required, so the candidates must keep them handy
• Lastly, verify the details in the application form and submit
• A registration number will be generated, which the candidates need to note down
