The General Education Department (GED), Government of Kerala has issued the notification subject to the Kerala Teachers Eligibility Test (K-TET) 2016. The department is all set to conduct the Kerala-Teachers Eligibility Test (K-TET) on the prescribed stated dates in the notification. K-TET is an examination to assess the quality of teacher candidates for Lower Primary (Category-I), Upper Primary (Category-II) and High School Classes (Category-III, IV) in Kerala.
KTET Teachers Eligibility Test 2016 Notification
The General Education Department KTET-2016, on the basis of the notification department shall conduct the K-TET to examine the aptness of the candidates for Teachers for Lower primary, Upper primary & High School classes. Kerala TET 2016 Application Form Download
Applications should be submitted to Pareeksha Bhavan only through online. Printout of the application, chalan and copies of the certificates need not be sent to Pareeksha Bhavan. The candidate should take a printout of the application before confirming and verify the details given in the online application.
Application Fee-
The Exam fee is Rs.500/-(Rupees Five Hundred only) for each category. Fee for SC/ST and differently abled categories is Rs.250/-
Kerala-TET 2016 Exam Eligibility Criteria
For Category No-I (Lower Primary Schools)-
Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and two year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC). For more detailed information take reference to the examination notification.
