LUCSAT 2016 Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test
Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test invites applications from eligible applicants for admission to Master of Computer Application (MCA) Course through the LUCSAT Entrance Test 2016.
Eligibility for LUCSAT 2016
B.Sc (Computer Science / Computer Application / Information Technology) or BCA / B.E / B.Tech (CSE / IT) of Minimum 3year duration with a minimum of 50 percent marks for Gen/OBC and 45 percent marks for SC/ST and Mathematics / Computer Science / Computer application as one of the subject at intermediate / Higher Seconday (i.e. 10+2) level.
Students of BCA final semester of Lucknow University or affiliated college of Lucknow University can apply if candidate passed (without any back paper) in all semester and having 50 percent marks (aggregate) up-to 5th semester for GEN/OBC and 45 percent marks SC/ST respectively.
Similarly, Students of B.Sc (Computer Science/Computer Application/Information Technology) final year, Lucknow University or affiliated college of Lucknow University can apply if candidate passed (without any back paper) in 1st year and 2nd year having 50 percent marks (aggregate) in both years for GEN/OBC and 45 percent marks SC/ST respectively.

Important Dates for LUCSAT 2016 (Tentative)
- Last date to Receive Application Form on May 30th, 2016
- Date of Entrance Exam on June 10th, 2016 at 09.00 am to 10.30 am
- Reporting time on June 10th, 2016 at 08.30 am in Dept. of Computer Science, LU, LKO.
- Admission Process
- The admission shall be done on the basis of combined entrance test (100 marks). There shall be no negative marking. Entrance Test Question paper will consist of multiple choice question.
- The total duration of the exam will be for about one and a half hours.
- There will not be any mark deduction for the questions which are left unanswered.
- Part-A: 40 Multiple Choice Questions, based on Logical reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, English Comprehension, General Knowledge.
- Part-B: 60 Multiple Choice Questions, based on BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science) Syllabus of University of Lucknow.
