Tamilnadu Directorate of Technical Education ( TNDTE ) released notification for candidates who wish to Apply for TN 1st year Diploma courses 2016 – 2017 .
Download Tamilnadu Diploma admissions application form 2016 online and send it on or before the last date. Candidates have to send the completely filled-in TNDTE Polytechnic First year Admission form before JUNE 17th, 2016.

TNDTE has given list of Government Polytechnic colleges in Tamil along with the courses they offer .
Eligibility Criteria for Diploma Admissions 2016 :
Candidates satisfying the following eligibility rules as on 01-07-2016 are alone eligible to apply.
Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu only will be considered for admission. However, the following categories of candidates are eligible to apply subject to certain conditions.
Children of Central Government Employees not domicile of Tamil Nadu may also apply and compete under Open Competitions for admission, irrespective of their domicile, provided their parents or guardians (only if parents are not alive) are serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past FIVE YEARS at the time of submission of application which should be supported by enclosing a certificate from the employer of the parent or guardian.
