Jharkhand PECEJharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) every year. Through this common entrance exam, the candidates are offered different polytechnic courses in various institutions located all across Jharkhand.

About Jharkhand Polytechnic Admission
The students who are willing to make a career out of Polytechnic courses must crack this state level entrance exam first. They will be allowed to get admission in any of the state Institutions only when they clear the written exam successfully. The better the rank they acquire, the better the chances of getting through some of the best Polytechnic colleges of Jharkhand. The students who will clear the written exam will be called for the counseling.
Eligibility criteria of JCECEB PECE 2016
Citizenship: The candidate appearing for the Jharkhand Polytechnic must be a resident of Jharkhand and must also possess the residential certificate that is being issued by proper authority.
Age Limit: The candidate appearing for the mining engineering must be minimum 17 years of age as of July 1st in the year of examination. As such there is no age limit for other candidates.
Educational Qualification: The aspirant must have cleared the Xth board exam or have appeared in the Xth board exam from any recognized Board or equivalent.
Application Process of JCECEB PECE 2016
• The application form for the exam will be made available at the Grand Post Offices, sub post offices and Main post offices in Jharkhand.
• Once they obtain the application form, the candidates must fill up the application form with all the correct details.
• When the application is filled up properly, the candidate must send it to the below mentioned address through speed post or through registered post –
