About KAMT: The KMAT is a state level entrance test through which qualified students get their admission for management of business administration and management computer application courses. From ten years, Karnataka private post graduate colleges association is holding the Karnataka management admission test regularly. Now for session 2016-2017 the KPPGCA will be also organised the KMAT exam in July 2016. For which the official notification will be published in the next year. KMAT 2016, to be held on July 24th, is the last common entrance exam for MBA/PGDM Admissions 2016. It is a conventional Paper-Pencil Test.
Eligible Criteria for KMAT 2016: Entry requirements into professional courses like MBA/PGDM/MCA in Karnataka are followed as per the UGC guidelines.
MBA/PGDM: Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidate). Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
